connecting different generations through storytelling
Storytelling
GenRelate is dedicated to bridging the generational gap through storytelling. Our mission is to create a community where individuals from all generations can come together to share their life experiences, learn from each other, and celebrate the unique journey of each person. We aim to break down barriers and promote understanding, empathy, and connection between generations. And in doing so, create a world where every voice, at any age, is heard and celebrated.
Do you have a story to tell?
We want to
hear about your life’s journey, the changes you’ve witnessed, the hard work you’ve put
in, and the successes you’ve achieved.
It doesn’t have to be earth-shattering or a grand
accomplishment, we are interested in hearing about what matters to you.

What can GenRelate do for you?
As an educator teaching tenth-grade students about Vietnam, it can be challenging in today's age to capture and maintain their attention. However, I recently had the privilege of sharing a video of George from Illinois, who served in the Vietnam 4th Infantry Division. My students were completely captivated by George's story, and many of them were "shook" to realize that he was not much older than they are now when he was there. It was a valuable and unforgettable experience for them to hear directly from someone who experienced this pivotal moment in history. Paul Martin

Well, at 82 years old and retired from teaching, I've certainly seen my fair share of things! I was thrilled to have the opportunity to share my story about my classroom adventures in the 1960s. The website was a breeze to navigate, and the survey process was straightforward, making it easy for anyone to participate.

Wow, GenRelate did a wonderful job of bringing my first-hand account of working in the White House in 1986 to life. I feel truly blessed that my story will live on for future generations to learn from and enjoy.

I wasn't sure if my story would be interesting enough, but I decided to give it a shot anyway, and I'm so glad I did. GenRelate made it easy for me to share my experiences, and I feel honored that my story will be heard by others. It's amazing to think that my story could inspire and connect with people from all different generations. Thank you, GenRelate, for providing a platform for us to share our stories and connect with each other.
